When you need space before deciding what comes next
There are times when carrying on at the same pace no longer feels possible, but the next direction is not yet clear. You may be leading, creating, caring, navigating change or questioning what you want from the next phase of your work and life.
The Manchester Pilot creates a supportive day away from everyday demands. Through guided reflection, facilitated conversation, gentle movement and practical inquiry, you will have space to hear yourself think, reconnect with what matters and begin shaping what comes next.
What the day includes
Across a carefully facilitated one-day experience, we will move between rest, reflection, shared inquiry and practical next steps
Rest and arrive
Slow down through gentle embodied practice, breath and space to settle. No previous experience is needed, and everything is invitational
Reflect with guidance
Explore where you are now, what may no longer be serving you and what deserves greater attention through structured individual reflection
Think together
Take part in facilitated conversations where different experiences and ideas can be voiced, heard and explored without pressure to perform or have everything resolved
Rebuild with intention
Translate what emerges into clearer priorities, possibilities and practical commitments for the next stage
What you will leave with
The purpose is not to send you home with a rigid productivity plan. It is to help you leave feeling more grounded, more connected to your own thinking and better able to move forward deliberately
Greater clarity about what matters now and what may need to change
A stronger sense of direction without pressure to have every answer
Practical reflections and next steps that you can return to after the day
Connection with other thoughtful women navigating leadership, change, purpose and possibility
You will also receive a Resting Powerhouse guided materials to support your reflections during and after the event
Why this experience is different
Rest and purposeful change are usually kept apart
Many spaces for leadership and professional development ask us to think harder, perform more effectively or produce an immediate plan. Many restorative experiences offer a valuable pause but leave little room to explore the questions waiting beneath it.
Resting Powerhouse was created because we do not stop being whole people when we enter our working lives. Rest, embodied awareness, reflective thought and purposeful action can strengthen one another.
The Manchester Pilot brings those elements into one carefully designed day: enough space to slow down, enough structure to think deeply, and enough practical guidance to begin moving forward differently.
